The Power of Continual Growth: Walt & Company Senior Team Member Attends IPREX Leadership Development Course
As we approach the second quarter of the year, it’s a natural moment to pause and reflect on the importance of personal and professional development. Taking the time to continuously learn and refine our skills not only strengthens ourselves as individuals, but elevates entire teams. As communicators, we know the most compelling stories come from those who never stop learning, evolving, pushing boundaries, and wondering what’s next. That means making space to learn from everyday experiences while also seeking opportunities for growth beyond the day-to-day.
Senior Associate Jordyn Amazeen recently participated in the IPREX Leadership Development Conference (ILDC), joining 30 emerging leaders from independent agencies across the Americas to explore how cultural differences shape team dynamics, message interpretation and strategic choices. Led by IPREX Executive Director Alexandra Mayhew, the 5-day virtual program included expert panels with IPREX agency principals and external leaders.
The conference explored self-awareness as a foundation of leadership, cultural awareness as a driver of effective communication, leadership in complex environments and cultural insight as a foundation of strategy. With real-world insights and perspectives to help strengthen how teams work with clients across regions and navigate multicultural environments and communications needs.
